About this workshop:
To have the technical & practical ability to effectively use the Mexican rebozo in its’ many birth applications, requires true experiential mastery that only dedicated hands-on experience with the understanding of birth can give. Naoli has created 3 in-depth sequential ‘Rebozo for Birth Master Classes’ to offer birth practitioners the opportunity to dive deeply into the detailed art and science of the application of Mexican rebozo in the reproductive cycle.
Naoli, as a Mexican midwife with over 1800+ births, has used traditional rebozo techniques to creatively solve countless home birth challenges. From her ample experience, she has also developed her own specialized original Rebozo birth techniques.
Who is this teacher training for?
The Rebozo for Birth - Teacher Training is designed for those who already have experience and a great passion for the use of the rebozo in pregnancy, labor, and birth, and additionally WISH TO TEACH it to others.
In order to participate in this course, it is essential that you have first completed series of previous prerequisites to qualify for entry into the training. Once the prerequisites are completed, you will be accepted into the list of authorized attendees and will be notified of the time and location of the upcoming training sessions for instructors.

Six-months of practicing rebozo techniques after attending Rebozo for Birth Master Class 1 & 2.
Description
Passing on the knowledge and wisdom of a cultural heritage such as the Mexican Rebozo as applied to pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum is a great responsibility which needs to be nourished and backed by true understanding and hands-on practice. One way of developing the skills necessary to pass on this wisdom, while keeping the essence of the lineage pure and accurate, is to go to Mexico for an extended period of a few years to become the apprentice of an active traditional Mexican midwife who has deep understanding and experience in the use of the rebozo. This is difficult for many birth practitioners to do and finding a highly active traditional midwife who is thus steeped in the practice and use of the rebozo during births may not be so easy.
Naolí’s life as a Mexican midwife has been devoted to holding traditional midwifery at the core of birth knowledge, as it is the grandmother of all birth wisdom. In an effort to preserve traditional rebozo practices, Naolí has developed these Rebozo for Birth - Master Class 1 & 2 series, culminating in Rebozo for Birth -Teacher Training. The Teacher Training course seeks to insure that practitioners who wish to pass on the Mexican rebozo knowledge have undergone dedicated study with supervised hands-on practice.
The Rebozo for Birth - Teacher Training Certification requires dedication, focus and a solid practice. Those who receive Certification by Naolí's Art of Birth, will be qualified to safely and accurately teach traditional and Naolí’s original rebozo maneuvers.
