About this workshop:
To have the technical & practical ability to effectively use the Mexican rebozo in its many birth applications, requires true experiential mastery that only dedicated hands-on experience with real understanding of birth can give. Naoli has created 3 in-depth sequential ‘Rebozo for Birth Master Classes’ to offer birth practitioners the opportunity to dive deeply into the detailed art and science of the application of Mexican rebozo in the reproductive cycle.
Naoli, as a Mexican midwife with over 1800+ births, has used traditional rebozo techniques to creatively solve countless home birth challenges. From her ample experience, she has also developed her own specialized original Rebozo for birth techniques.
Who is this workshop for?
The “Rebozo for Birth - Masterclass 1" is an advanced hands-on workshop with the following prerequisite to prepare you for more in-depth rebozo work:

It is recommended for midwives, nurses, doctors, doulas, therapists, mothers/mothers-to-be and any one interested in deepening their understanding and practice on the use of the Mexican rebozo as applied to birth.
Description
In the "Rebozo for Birth - Master Class 1” participants will learn the principles of rebozo in its cultural context and valuable application in the birth practice. Through demonstrations and in-depth hands-on training, participants will have ample opportunity to become confident on the use of the rebozo for supporting, adjusting, embracing & relaxing pregnant & birthing mothers. We will also learn techniques & maneuvers to prevent & solve some common birth difficulties. Midwives & doulas working at home or within the medical system will be able to benefit, bringing new tools and understanding into their practice.
