Sobre o evento
In 1991-92 Naoli created and developed the artistic, realistic visual technique drawn over the gestating belly, which came to be called “Natural Ultrasound”. This inspiration sprouted from Naoli's empathy and creativity to offer a possibility to the indigenous female population in the rural area where she lived and practiced, to have a realistic image of their babies in different gestational ages, when no obstetrical ultrasound was accessible to them. This technique, combining art and science, provides a clinically and anatomically accurate rendering of the fetal size and position, as well as a beautiful emotional connection between parents, unborn child and older siblings. After teaching the Natural Ultrasound technique in over 30 countries for over 30 years and painting more than 5,000 Natural Ultrasounds on pregnant women around the world, Naoli is happy and honored to witness how so many people in the birth world have incorporated her technique into their work. The Natural Ultrasound workshop is a 1, 3 or 5 day in-depth immersion taught by Naoli Vinaver, for participants to develop their artistic sensibility and skills, to work intimately with pregnant women, becoming acquainted with the art of palpation, auscultation and specifically the art of accurately drawing the position and shape of the babies' on the women bellies. This workshop is recommended for pregnant women (any number of weeks gestation), midwives, nurses, doulas, doctors, therapists, mothers, and all persons interested in deepening the understanding of this art.
