Mexican Postpartum
The complete ritual of
"the closing of the bones"
Length: 1-3- days
About this workshop:
The Mexican postpartum ritual is a tradition that has been celebrated for centuries and is dedicated to restoring spiritual, emotional & bodily integrity to mothers after childbirth. This ritual offers the mother the opportunity to recover fully: massaging, bathing/steaming in herbs, cleansing, purifying, relaxing and closing her body in a comforting and profound way, with gratitude towards her as the source of life that she is. The benefits of this ritual go beyond the imaginable, as they reach subtle personal spaces in a subtle, yet deeply beneficial manner.
