Languages: English/Portuguese Limited to: 35 participants  About the intensive workshop:  The 2-week-long ART OF BIRTH workshop, is one of Naoli's favorite, as participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a deep exploration of the most diverse topics and techniques related to pregnancy and birth, as well as postpartum care. The course represents a unique experience, (those who have participated before, can do it again, knowing that it will never be the same), since Naoli loves to bring new materials, reflections, information and exchanges, weaving them with the richness that the participants themselves represent in the group dynamics. The BILINGÜAL workshop English/Portuguese has an added richness which is that of cross-cultural exchanges amongst the diverse cultures of women from around the world, providing for amazing sharing and expansion of our world views! Such a joy!

The ART OF BIRTH workshop is enriching and nourishing in such numerous ways, that the participating midwives, nurses, doulas, doctors, therapists and/or mothers return to their homes and their birth work renewed, with rekindled passion and expanded skills to apply directly in their personal lives and practices.  As Naolí loves to sing, move and work in places of exuberant natural beauty, the island of Florianópolis, Brazil is the perfect place to celebrate this workshop. When weather permits, classes will be held outdoors, in natural, wonderful places! On occasional rainy days or when we require a closed environment, we will stay in the beautiful cozy space of Amanascer, adjacent to Naoli's house.

• Understanding the nature of life energy: supporting vital energy from its source.
• Use of Rebozo during pregnancy and birth
• Preventing and solving birth challenges
• Unlocking and unblocking vital energy: from trauma to healing
• Sexuality in birth: tantric birth
• Combining traditional midwifery with contemporary midwifery
• Preparation of home remedies for pregnancy, birth and postpartum
• Extraordinary birth stories
• Natural ultrasound: Day with pregnant women-  belly palpation, listening to heart beats and developing the ability to draw the babies' positions in utero.
• Mexican postpartum ritual: massage, temazcal, sweat and closing of the bones.

What is included in the 2-week Intensive immersion Art of Birth Workshop.

• 10 days of classes (7 hours a day)
• 5 days on, 2 days off, 5 days on.
• Herbs and materials for preparing traditional remedies and temazcal.

There are many options which are very comfortable, lovely and clean.About transportation, accommodation and food:  ⚠️⚠️⚠️ The price of the workshop does not include transportation, accommodation nor food.  Plenty of Airbnb houses and apartments to share, as well as a some nice Bed & Breakfast options can be found near or even on the same street as the workshop Amanascer space.

Everything is just a short distance from restaurants, stores, supermarkets, pharmacies and the lively neighborhood centers of Lagoa, Campeche, Novo Campeche and Rio Tavares. Those of you who wish to book an accommodation should contact the bed & breakfast inns directly to reserve their accommodation and pay directly to them.

Transportation within the island: The UBER app works very efficiently, and is very cheap, so moving around is easy and very safe.

Food: There are so many options for lunches and dinners (and even breakfast) near by. Many vegetarian, vegan and also delicious island fish and meat restaurants can be found, all of them very fresh, with loads of vegetables and salad options, as the island vibe is delight and health! Once we create the whatssap group of the participants we will share the links to the many options available, and you can all try a different one each day!
